Quotes This last summer my wife and I, along with a family of four, took three tours with Cristina. We visited Ancient Rome, the Vatican Museums and St. Peters, and the Borghese Gallery on three consecutive days. Cristinaâ??s tours are not â??canned tours.â? She customized our tours to accommodate our wishes. For instance, the day we toured Ancient Rome (Colosseum, Forum and Palatine Hill), we also visited a Mithraen Temple under the Circus Maximus and the Mouth of Truth (See Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck in â??Roman Holiday.â?). Cristina is knowledgeable (she has a doctorate degree in Roman culture). In 10 ½ hours of touring she never had to refer to notes. Cristina is also energetic, friendly and down to earth. She can tourists of any age or level of interest in history and/or culture comfortable. One of my fondest memories of Rome was sitting outside the Colosseum after four hours of touring in 96 degree temperatures. We six tourists were, to say the least, pooped. But there was Cristina, Quotes

Quotes What a lovely, friendly, and informative person we found in Cristina. She met us at the entrance to the Roman Forum on the morning of June 6, 2010 and provided us with a wonderful tour of Ancient Rome. She was extrememly knowledgeable about the entire area and brought along visual aids to show us how things looked during the height of the Roman Empire. We loved the opportunity to visit with her and to ask any questions we had about the sights we were seeing. We would HIGHLY recommend contacting Cristina if you are interested in a warm, welcoming, and excellent tour guide. Quotes

Quotes Our family traveled to Rome for our first time this summer and we found Cristinaâ??s name in Rick Stevesâ?? guidebook. I contacted her by email and we set up a tour starting at Piazza Navona and hitting the highlights of ancient Rome â?? the Pantheon, Capitoline Hill, the Roman Forum, and Colosseum. I was a little concerned because we had children ages 9 to 15 and we had already had guided tours in Firenze, Siena, and Lucca and the children were tired of the tours. But I didnâ??t have to worry because Cristina was great. She was lively, entertaining, and extremely informative in a way that kept us and our children interested. She brought a folder with pictures of what the ruins looked like originally so that we could have an idea of the former grandeur of Rome. Afterwards, we all agreed that she was the best guide we had in Italy. If you go to Rome, having Cristina as your guide will really help bring ancient Rome to life. Quotes

Quotes my husband and i took a private tour with cristina in october of this past year for our 1 year anniversary trip and she was amazing! i had been to rome before but my husband had never been. it was like i was seeing the city for the first time with all of the information that cristina provided for us! she was very patient with us asking questions and stopping to take a lot of photos. i would highly recommend this particular tour because these are places in rome that you would not know about unless you read a guidebook while touring them. cristina was so sweet and so interesting that the time just absolutely flew by and we were sad to see our tour with her end. we would most definitely recommend cristina to anyone who has a passion for italian and roman history and loves to have a good time while sightseeing! she helped make our trip a memorable one! grazie mille cristina! Quotes Cristina did a wonderful job in organizing this tour of the Great Squares (and their fountains). We felt that a walking tour would be too strenuous and we wouldn't be able to cover as many sites, so Cristina arranged for a private car, in which she picked us up at our hotel and proceeded to show us this part of Rome. The convenience and comfort of having the car cannot be over emphasized. The 3 hour tour flew by, and we were sorry to have to say good-bye to Cristina. She had taken care of us for 3 days and had made our Rome vacation memorable. Quotes

Quotes Cristina Giannicchi was my husband's and my tour guide on August 5, 2010. We spent an informative non-stop 6.5 hours together touring archaeological Rome. The tour was fantastic! Cristina was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Also, her English is excellent. Cristina's drawings of archaeological sites showing them in their original grandeur and then seeing their ruins helped us understand Roman history, past and present. Ladies, another plus is that Cristina knows where all the "clean" bathrooms are located. I whole heartedly recommend Cristina Giannicchi as a tour guide. Our experience with her was outstanding! Quotes The Vatican tour was amazing, a person could spend days in the Vatican Museum and not see everything. Raffael's rooms, the map gallery and the Basilica were some of the highlights of our trip. Quotes
